This coffee shop was on my list for quite a long time. It’s located near hell Oxford Street, and I guess it’s the main reason I’d been avoiding it. Interestingly, it wasn’t overcrowded when I got there, maybe because there are not many tourists in London now. Or maybe they simply don’t know about this place…
Anyway, there are 2 Curators Coffee shops in the city: Curators Coffee Gallery near Oxford Circus and Curators Coffee Studio in the City of London. I decided to have my Saturday breakfast in one of them before going for a photo walk in Marylebone. What caught my attention the moment I got there was the pattern on the floor. I would say it’s an ‘Instagramer’s Dream‘ haha.
I ended up having orange and lemon cake and a flat white coffee to wake up. When I write about coffee in London coffee shops I’m really struggling to find words to describe it. Coffee here is good almost everywhere, there is nothing to add. So when people ask for my advice on ‘the best coffee in London’ I really don’t know what to say… Maybe to avoid Starbucks and go to local coffee shop. Ones I found a really good one simply by taking a new road to work.
What I really liked about this place is that it wasn’t noisy as it usually happens and I could do some work. Coffee shop in general is a good place for brainstorming ideas, and that’s what I really enjoy doing. Quick productivity tip here: have a small notebook and pen with you all the time. You never know when an interesting idea can hit you 🙂 As always I got a seat near the window. It just feels different when you sitting in cozy place and still connected to busy city life through the glass.
